About Sonia Simon, DPM
A Dallas native, Dr. Sonia Simon is excited to be joining Dallas Podiatry Works and StrideCare. Dr. Simon is passionate about providing compassionate care to her patients and helping them reach optimal health. Adds Dr. Simon, “I love having a set of skills that really help and impact the lives of others. Despite how busy a day is, knowing that I took away pain from someone that’s been dealing with it for years makes every day easy.”
Dr. Simon believes that patient care is a team effort. While experienced in a vast array of foot and ankle ailments, Dr. Simon’s primary focuses are bunion treatment, hammer and claw toe, nerve-related care, heel pain, children’s foot care, foot injuries, ingrown nails, fungal nails, routine diabetic care, wound salvage, wound care, ankle injuries, tendon injuries, and skin conditions of the foot.
With a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Simon completed her residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Simon has presented posters at the 2019 and 2021 American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Annual Conferences.
